about
These are my first recordings (I think). Yes, I’ve had the album name Tortured Reflections for that long. I’ve had these songs forever and stuck with it. I released Tortured Reflections 5/30/2022. But, this is the original artwork and tracks (as hideous as it is). The music, well, it’s very, very, very rough. Why am I putting it out? Why not? It’s the 10th anniversary. I finally got around to ‘remastering’ it, and I can finally hear the vocals on this piece of dog dookie-cookie. Some of these songs made it onto T-R recently, some on Mongrel in the Middle, Amalgamation, and some never made it (for good reason). Maybe this will give some an invitation to revisit TR. Some of the lyrics on these demos are truly cringey and utterly terrible. I do mean terrible and cringey. This is basically being put out I guess to show how I’ve progressed for better or for worse. Oh well, I was 14/15 years old. The first song I ever wrote is on here though ‘I Don’t Know’:
‘I don’t follow in any footsteps I create my own, I guess that’s why I’m all alone.’
indeed.
‘I don’t follow in any footsteps I create my own, I guess that’s why I’m all alone.’
indeed.
