Lawrence Tome - King Of The River
Lawrence Tome was born and raised in a Norman Rockwell painting.
Lawrence Tome will lull you into a trance before drenching you in lilting melodies and somber stories, packaged neatly in harmonic wrapping paper and taped shut with the sticky side of eras long gone.
Lawrence Tome is most easily seen under the light of a full moon.
Lawrence Tome rests at the bottom of Hollowtop Lake in the tobacco root mountains outside of Pony, Montana. Many fishermen have felt the water stir as hypnotic melodies float up from the depths breaking the surface, to reach toward the stars.
Lawrence Tome was once on the line with a man known only as Flint Michigan for 17 hours, 46 minutes, and 22 seconds. Repeatedly pulled into the water, Flint nearly drowned, keeping hold of his rod. When he finally pulled in the line, there was a treasure map at the end of his hook.
When startled, Lawrence Tome dissolves into a puddle of tears.
Lawrence Tome’s current collaborators include Morgan Kinsinger (vocals), Allie Robson (vocals), Will Mackey-Jenkins (electric guitar), Josh Ruebeck (bass), Jona Penningroth (drumkit), Alex Santilli (drum kit, percussion), and Tommy McGettrick (pedal steel). These performers are rumored to be ghosts taking temporary corporeal form for the sole purpose of creating music.
