Notes
Original pressing on Pacific Arts with "First Pressing" printed on labels, (20th Century Fox later acquired the rights after it got an Academy Award nomination and re-released it 3 months later with 20th Century Fox labels.)
Presented in a gatefold sleeve with a light gloss finish.
Plain inner.
This version appears visually similar to The Elephant Man (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) except:
•The leaf design on the labels is green instead of grey;
•The runout characters are less complex, predominantly on side B runout;
•This version shows the same lacquer cut engineer on both sides;
•They are from different pressing plants.
Runouts are hand etched excepting "Mastered by Capitol" which are stamped.
© is seen on spine only.
•Mastered at [plated at] Columbia Santa Maria and
•Pressed by Columbia Terra Haute are not explicitly shown on the release but are derived from runout characters.
