Longtime beat-tape and 404 enthusiasts Eddie Logix (Detroit-based DJ, producer and audio engineer; Rocksteady Disco label affiliate) and Airjob (Hamtramck-based producer; J94 label founder) come together for this joint vinyl project pressed at Detroit’s own Archer Record Pressing, released on the J94 record label.
Created with a box of dusty records, a Technic 1200, and a SP 404sx, this 17-tracker offers a new take on some hip hop lyrical classics, each one showcasing timeless acapellas over woozy loops and fresh new rhythms. The record has a run time of 29 minutes and 12 seconds.
