Dave Van Ronk was an important figure in the American folk music revival and New York City's Greenwich Village scene in the 1960s. His 1967 concert, Live at Sir George William University, is released here for the first time on vinyl and includes a bonus remix of "Statesboro Blues." Nicknamed the "Mayor of MacDougal Street," Dave Van Ronk was a mentor to Bob Dylan and is immortalized in the Coen Brothers film "Inside Llewyn Davis."
