Since 2001, ARRABIO has refined their hardcore sound with hard work and perseverance. Acting as hosts and guides, this band helped to open Cuba to foreign punk bands. As founding members of the Solidarity Rock initiative, they were the first Cuban band to regularly tour their own country and have two Canadian tours to their credit, also participating in the 2013 Blacknblue Bowl in NYC.
Reflecting influences from NYHC to early Spanish punk, ARRABIO are 100% Cuban in their approach and execution. Featuring guest vocals by the first Cuban punk Roger Miret of Agnostic Front, this record packs hardcore power and passion into a historically significant vinyl release.Recorded in 2012 by Jesse Gander in Trinidad, Cuba as part of the Solidarity Rock project, the proceeds from this album's sales will support efforts to continue to bring sorely needed musical equipment to Cuba.
