Notes on back of box: On March 1962 The Live New Departures Jazz Poetry Septet - featuring some of UK`s finest jazz musicians together with poets Pete Brown (co-writer/Cream) and David Horowitz (Britains Beat Laureate) - performed an historic intermedic gig at the SCR Students Buliding of the Southhampton University Campus.................... The magical events of that night were captured on reel to reel tape recorder by the artists friend Victor Schonfieldm and are now released on 180g vinyl with photo memorabilia and words, for the first time.
