Jyonson Tsu - Live at Musica Japonica - New Cassette 2020 Eye Vybe Records Tape - Experimental Folk

earlier this year i helped my friend jyonson tsu set up a live streamed concert - the first he’s ever done - at the venue he helps run in osaka, musica japonica, after we had to scrap plans for a two week USA tour i’d put together for spring of 2020. the online show was a total success, bringing hundreds of tsu heads together from all over the planet at all hours of the day to witness his unique take on folk music and wild storytelling. i captured the audio (expertly mixed in house by takashi kabashima) and we edited it down to fit on a cassette. here it is - a nice lil live relic in an era not exactly known for its live relics.
