If anything, it's a beautiful reminder that the future remains brighter and brighter as recording technology becomes more and more available to a wider (and growing) audience of talent. Compiling HOOPS' very first three tapes into wax discs of flying saucer-rivaling, spacy transcendence into a certain long-distance relationship spanning from the likes of our Purp Lord, Prince all the way to Brit-pop bedroom cassette legend, The Cleaners from Venus. So, with a gap that wide, one might start to ask some questions, but here's the thing-you're curious now, right? Shock and absorb, baby. Sale psychology aside, this is truly a blast from the past through the talent of today. Truly there is a whole lot more to our beautiful midwest than our cornfields and Culver's.
