Debut album from LA-based psych rock group fronted by Phil Pirrone, who runs the Desert Daze festival which the band plays each year. JJUUJJUU is a shifting collective of sonic mystics, anchored by founder, Phil Pirrone. Diffusing the barriers between performer and participant, the collective experience becomes ecstatic rhythmic ritual for transcending singular identity and physical form. Speaking in chorus, the instrumentation chants in a primordial motorik language, becoming more precise and expressive through repetition.
