This special 7” (45 rpm) release includes two well-known singles from Dos Santos. The first, “Corre Caballo” is a track that quickly kicks into a driving Latin funk groove building up to a hypnotic climax of swirling guitars and funky organ. The flip side is the moody instrumental “Roberto’s Lament” which serves up flavors reminiscent of Chile’s soul psych rockers, Los Angeles Negros. Soaked in layers of reverb guitar and a trippy Hammond organ, it slowly swells leaving you wanting more.
